Description

Both the tradition of early Buddhism and the Zen tradition emphasize the Practices of Liberation and Awakening. In this retreat, we will practice and study the core principles of both traditions and explore how they can support awakening in everyday life.

This retreat offers an opportunity for experienced meditators to engage in the Zen residential practice of Tassajara Zen Mountain Center. Our schedule will include morning and evening zazen, daily Dharma talks, workshop-style activities and exercises, mindful work, and group practice discussions with the teachers.

Fee Information

To lower the cost of this retreat, Paul and Gil have declined teacher compensation. Tax deductible donations (credit/debit, cash, and checks) can be made during the retreat or by making a donation here and adding 'support funds' to the comments.
