In Stillwater Hall
Using a rush (Juncus effusus) commonly found in Bay Area freshwater wetlands, including the lower fields of Green Gulch Farm, we will make close- or open-twined baskets. Patterns can be introduced by varying the weave, and crossing warps. Experienced students may make an Italian-style curd-draining basket.
Please bring a bag lunch.
