The event will take place at Page Street, a co-working space for writers at 297 Page Street (at Laguna).
The ZenLit series, produced in collaboration with Page Street, presents another conversation about writing at the intersection of Buddhist practice and literature. This time around, our guest is Peter Coyote, an accomplished actor and Zen priest who has written two memoirs, Sleeping Where I Fall and The Rainman’s Third Cure, a book of poetry, Tongue of a Crow, as well as two nonfiction books, The Lone Ranger and Tonto Meet Buddha and the recently released Zen in the Vernacular.
Peter will be in conversation with author and Zen practitioner Janis Cooke Newman. His books will be on sale at the event, and Peter will be on hand to sign them.
Space is limited to 40 people.
- General: $45
