KN95 or N95 are required when attending Trans Sangha. Cloth masks and surgical masks are not permitted. We mask as an act of community care & to make this space accessible to sangha members who are disabled, chronically ill, and/or immunocompromised.
Trans Sangha is a meditation group by and for transgender people; beginners and newcomers are always welcome. Meetings include brief introductions, meditation, and discussions about Buddhist practice. Meditation instruction will be provided for anyone who would like to learn or who would like a refresher.
The group is co-facilitated by Eleanor Shonin Rykener (she/her) and Marion Anthonisen (they/them). Eleanor is a student in the Soto Zen Buddhist lineage and Marion is a student of the Insight tradition of Theravada Buddhism. Please feel free to say hi before or after meetings!
Kei Claire Van Arnam is a co-founder and is currently away on extended retreat.
