Creating Refuge for Ourselves and Each OtherA Queer Dharma OfferingSunday, November 4 9:30 am - 5 pm led by Tova Green and David Zimmerman Buddha Hall at 300 Page Street During this one-day sitting we will create a safe space to be together and to acknowledge the difficulties we experience both as individuals and as a community, as well as the ways we thrive. We will explore the many meanings of "taking refuge in Buddha, Dharma and Sangha." The day will include sitting and walking meditation, a Dharma talk and discussion, movement, chanting, and tea. We hope you will leave at the end of the day with a heightened sense of affinity and community with other queer meditators and a renewed appreciation for your own presence in the world. Lunch is not available on Sundays at City Center. We welcome you to bring a vegetarian lunch into our dining room or the courtyard during the break. And there are several restaurants within a few blocks of City Center. Fees: $60; $54 current SFZC members; $48 limited income. To Register: Use the Ticket Table below.
