with Patricia Sullivan and Eijun Linda Cutts
July 14-19 (Sunday-Friday)
All levels welcome.
Connect with the compassionate resource of your awake nature and find a sense of fully embodied joy and ease through yoga asana, breath, and Zen meditation.
The distinct practices of Yoga and Zen resonate fully with one another, as do the co-leaders of this retreat, Patricia and Linda, who offer the harmonious and seamless interweaving of their teachings. Come ready to awaken heart-mind and refine communication within your body-mind. Yoga and Zen practices will align with mother earth's gravity field and open an ineffable, yet discernible connection to our forgotten sense of being human. Morning classes are active and instructional; the afternoons will include restorative poses and meeting ourselves through the breath. There will be ample leisure time to enjoy Tassajara.
Retreat fee: $370 ($315/member)

Patricia Sullivan
Patricia Sullivan has been teaching yoga for over 30 years, and her knowledge of alignment, anatomy, and kinesiology promotes healing and aesthetic awareness in every student. Foundational study of Iyengar Yoga, with years of personal exploration and exposure to many traditions, including Buddhist meditation, has created a continuing evolution in Patricia’s teaching. In addition, her work as a sculptor adds a creative, improvisational element to the class.
