with Athena Pappas and Cloud Mountain Graham Ross
May 11-14, 2015 (Monday-Thursday)
All levels welcome.
Through “meditation in action,” nourish and reconnect to the liberation body and joyful mind that are already yours.
Join us for the first yoga retreat of the season as Tassajara once more opens its heart and welcomes you into the refuge found in a quiet mind and natural beauty. Through the dynamic practices of Iyengar yoga and contemplative Zen teachings we will cultivate optimal balance, and bring our heart-minds and bodies into alignment. At the same time, we will nurture our capacity to be fully present with sustained composure and joyful ease. We’ll explore the ways that asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breath work) and zazen (sitting meditation) can reveal the wisdom body through which we experience true freedom.
Please note that the retreat fee does not include accommodations. Retreats begin late afternoon on the indicated start date and end in the morning on the indicated end date. Visit the Rooms & Rates
section and determine your preferred accommodations before making your reservations request online.
