Explore how deepening awareness in the present moment helps us access our true nature.

Iyengar yoga emphasizes precision in alignment as a way to develop mindfulness in the present moment and to access deeper layers of our being. Through practice we discipline the physical body, opening the way to more subtle layers of being: Breath, mind, intellect and spirit. In Soto Zen, men mitsu no kafu means “Careful attention to detail is the family/wind way.” This means that by paying close attention we are aligning ourselves with our true nature. This retreat will explore the integration of these sacred forms through asana, breath work, meditation and mindful being to help light the way.
