with Sojun Mel Weitsman
July 17- 19, 2015 (Friday- Sunday)

All are welcome.

Deepen your practice in the light of Shunryu Suzuki’s vision of the Buddha Way.

Shunryu Suzuki, San Francisco Zen Center's founding teacher, loved to move the stones that now shape the landscape of Tassajara. In work, meditation and community life he awakened the mind of Zen Buddhist practice in his Western students. With simplicity and subtlety, he presented the most profound teachings of Buddhism, asking always, “What is your own experience.” In this weekend gathering, we will explore the essential principles of Suzuki Roshi’s Zen Way and continue the creative work he began with his original students.

Retreat fee: $180 ($153/Member)

Please note that the retreat fee does not include accommodations. Retreats begin late afternoon on the indicated start date and end in the morning on the indicated end date. Visit the Rooms & Rates section and determine your preferred accommodations before making your reservations request online.
