Coming Down to Earth: A Day of Zen Practice for Women

With Chris Fortin and Raizelah Bayen
in the yurt at Green Gulch Farm

   Sunday, September 8, 9 am – 4:30 pm

May I, in a female body, practice for the welfare of all beings.
—Tara’s Vow

Please join us at beautiful Green Gulch Farm as we sit in a circle and weave together Zen practice, ancient heart-vow, and the current moment. Supported by practice and sharing, this will be a day of deepening connection to body, breath, one another, and the Earth. Our practices will include meditation, gentle movement, a dharma talk, and intimate conversation as we explore the path of embodied presence, and compassionate and openhearted awareness for ourselves and all beings.

This workshop is open to all women, including self-identified women, and beginning and experienced practitioners from all traditions.

Fees: $85; $76 current SFZC members; $68 limited income.
  • Fee includes lunch.
  • Some partial scholarships available.
