Registration deadline August 10
The August Three-Day Sesshin at Green Gulch Farm offers an entry into intensive sesshin retreat practice for those new to it, and a chance for more experienced sitters to touch into the sesshin body/heart/mind.
Participants are welcome to arrive as early as 3:00 pm on Thursday, and the sesshin will begin on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm with an orientation. Friday and Saturday will be full days of formal sitting with instruction, Dharma Talks, and services. The sesshin will conclude on Sunday with early morning sitting followed by the public Sunday program, including the Dharma talk and lunch.
All meals during this sesshin will be eaten in silence in the Green Gulch Dining Room.
Participants in this sesshin are encouraged to first participate in a One-Day Sitting at Green Gulch Farm, and are expected to have previously participated in a Half-Day Sitting or to have comparable experience with Zen meditation and forms. If you have questions about your participation in this sitting, please contact the Ino, Head of the Meditation Hall, at [email protected].
