In the garden

Immerse yourself in the relaxing, restoring scent of lavender for an afternoon. We will discuss how to grow lavender successfully, including propagation techniques and pruning. We will look at several different varieties of lavender and discuss its many uses and healing properties. We will demonstrate how to make lavender wreaths, and make lavender wands and lavender oil for you to take home. We will also share our favorite lavender recipes and sample some lavender treats and lavender lemonade.

Class limit of 15 people.

Lauren Bouyea
Lauren Bouyea began residential practice at Green Gulch Farm in 2003 as a farm and garden apprentice, and is currently Garden Manager. She received lay ordination in 2005 from Eijun Linda Ruth Cutts, and practiced at Tassajara for three years.
