9:30 am - 1:30 pm
with Wendy Johnson and Mia Monroe

Join us for a walk in the Redwood Creek Watershed. We will gather at Muir Woods entrance at 9:30, then walk to the Dragon Tree to honor the changing of the year and offer acorn bread, at our lunch rock high on the ridge everyone is invited to share a favorite passage from Rachel Carson's writing. At times we will walk in mindful silence, attuned to the natural sounds around us. There will be time to reflect on past watershed walks, exchange updates from Earth Day and Arbor Day. We will continue along Dias Ridge to a shuttle back to the redwoods.

To sign up and reserve a place call Muir Woods at 415.388.2596.

Please bring a bag lunch and carpool if possible.

There is no charge for this event.

Mia Monroe is the Site Supervisor for Muir Woods and has been a dedicated advocate for the whole Redwood Creek Watershed for more than 30 years.
