2 - 4:30 pm
with Chris Fortin and Jennifer Block
We will gather in remembrance to acknowledge and mourn the death of children, those born and unborn. We will make offerings and say good-bye in a ceremony of remembrance and letting go, with the intention of nurturing and tending both the beings who have died and the beings who continue to live.
We will spend time in silence creating offerings for the safe passage of children who have died and make prayer sticks to hang on the cherry tree in the memorial garden at Green Gulch.
Please bring a piece of red cloth, scissors, needle and thread. No sewing experience necessary.
Women and men are welcome.
Fee: Registration fee for the ceremony is $15 per person plus an offering of dana (the practice of giving or generosity) for the teachers and the teaching. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
To Register and for more information please contact Jennifer Block by email.
Through this ceremony of remembrance Jennifer and Chris are carrying on the decades long work of Yvonne Rand, whom they acknowledge with deep gratitude.
