Dharmavidya David Brazier, PhD
Dr David Brazier has studied Theravada, Tibetan, Zen and Pure Land Buddhism over five decades. He is now head of the Amida Order, a Pure Land Buddhist sangha, and President of the International Zen Therapy Institute. He is an authority on Buddhist psychology, especially as presented in the Abhidharma, and lectures to sanghas of many denominations throughout West Europe, annually in Korea, and periodically in North and South America, Japan and India. He is the author of 10 published books on Buddhism, psychology, culture and poetry. In his past career he has been a psychotherapist and a social and community worker and has founded projects in the fields of education and physical and mental health in several countries. He is English, lives in France and travels widely.
