Explore and integrate the practices of Yoga and Zen in this workshop with the teachings of Jill Satterfield and Paul Haller, long-time practitioners and teachers of both traditions.

This workshop will offer a variety of options for building or enriching a regular personal practice of yoga asanas, Zen meditation, and breathing techniques from both traditions. You will be guided in how to discern which options are most suitable for you. By deeply listening to the needs of your body and mind, and responding skillfully, you can create a practice that will enliven the body, increase flexibility, stabilize the mind and cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and inquiry. This foundation supports meeting meet life’s challenges with courage and curiosity.
 
In addition to meditation and asana practice, there will be emphasis and time for each person to speak about their practice, and ask Paul and Jill about ways to develop or sustain a personal practice that meets the needs of a life, a mind, heart, and body in constant change.

Fee: $80; $72 current SFZC members; $64 limited income. Some partial scholarships available.
