Practice Period Class
The six paramitas
(perfections)—generosity, ethical behavior, patience, joyous effort, concentration and wisdom—are a set of instructions that point to transformation of suffering into peace, non-fear, happiness and freedom. We will practice applying them in our daily lives and, through our own experience, see how these practices work together to enable us to live with peace and joy and to benefit all beings.
The text for this class is The Six Perfections: Buddhism and the Cultivation of Character
by Dale Wright.
