Tuesdays, January 29 - March 19
7:30 - 9 pm
with Laura Burges
In this class, we will study Buddha's teachings in light of recent research about the brain. Our Buddhist ancestors intuitively grasped insights about the nature of mind that have only recently been validated by scientific inquiry. How can we integrate these findings into our lives as lay practitioners of The Way? Our core text will be Buddha's Brain by Rick Hanson, Ph.D., though we will also draw on other sources, as well as the wisdom of the group.
