Saturday, January 11, 2014
1 - 4 pm
Zenshin Florence Caplow and Reigetsu Susan Moon will give the public dharma talk at 10 am)
This workshop is based on the stories in the groundbreaking new book The Hidden Lamp: Stories from Twenty-Five Centuries of Awakened Women
. Spend an afternoon with the editors of the book, Florence Caplow and Sue Moon, celebrating awakening in every form, through silence, inquiry, dialogue and writing. The stories in the book come from ancient and modern Buddhist women—teachers, mothers, nuns, courtesans, queens and servants. Together, we will develop a greater appreciation for the wisdom and courage we all have, whatever form our lives take and whatever roles we live within.
