In the Conference Center at 308 Page Street

Ellen Simpson, City Center's Outreach Coordinator, is offering a free training on how to administer Narcan (naloxone), a life-saving medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. Participants will learn how to recognize an overdose and safely administer Narcan. Additional information on the extent of the opioid crisis and the efficacy of Narcan will be reviewed. Local resources will be provided and a supply of Narcan will be given out for those who wish to have it available.
